How to Create Material and Use Textures in Blender Cycles
In this tutorial I will show you how to create a material and how to assign textures from Poly to Blender Cycles. To perform this, we will use Blender addon called “node wrangler”. It will make the process faster and more efficient. We don’t need to download it, it is by default in Blender, but we need to enable it.
We will need to open Blender first and than, change our render engine to Cycles.
Set up render engine to Cycles
Next we go to left-top-orner and click Edit/Preferences. In new window we need to choose Addons tab and in top-right-menu simply type node wrangler. To activate it we neet to click on the empty box.
Activating node-wrangler addon
Next we need to open Shading Tab on top of our viewport and create new material.
Creating Principled BSDF shader
Next we need to select our Prinicpled BSDF shader node by clicking on it and hold Ctrl+Shift+T. The pop up will appear with window of node wrangler addon. Then we go to the folder where we will have our textures from withpoly.com. We will select all textures by holding ctrl and click on them, after selecting all maps we will use Principled Texture Setup button.

And our shader node tree should look like this:

And that’s it ! Super simple and easy PBR workflow for Blender Cycles.
